| Stephen Dee works in miniature, sculpting individual
figures and scenes for a variety of galleries and private clients,
often taking an oblique look at popular culture. He learned the age-old
skills of porcelain modelling in England's Potteries region from his
grandmother, Olga Elcock, who designed for Wedgwood and Royal Doulton.
He brings contemporary techniques and influence to bear on these skills
and has lived in Ireland since 1980. |
